Ecsotec, LLC enjoys exploring the use of high performance electric vehicles in our everyday driving, and the products carried in our store have been used in our XR3 “XSO” Trike project. We do not intend to carry every product that might be found in an EV, however we will carry the components that are important to us and that we have personally used in our test vehicle. Our product line and knowledge base will only grow with time and hands-on experience. We hope you benefit from our research and development and enjoy shopping in our store.
Terms of Sale
At this time, we can process orders placed via our online shopping cart or via e-mail. The shopping cart is the preferred method, but sometimes a customer may request alternative shipping methods or a product not currently available in the online store.
By purchasing a product from ecsotec, LLC, the purchaser understands that ecsotec, LLC is merely a distributer for the products and does not bear responsibility in backing up any manufacturer’s warranty. Although ideas and suggestions may be provided on the website, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the product is installed safely and used properly. If an item is to be returned due to a warranty issue, we can provide the address and/or contact information. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide shipping and to send the defective product to the manufacturer.
Payments are made via a secure PayPal portal. A receipt from Paypal will be sent to the customer’s specified email address upon completion of sale. Any customers that have created an account at www.ecsotec.com, can view their current orders and check on the shipping status.
Shipping
- Items will be shipped within 3 business days or less
- Tracking number(s) will be furnished for all orders
- State taxes (except Louisiana), import fees, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer
- Ecsotec, LLC cannot be held liable for items damaged during shipping
Returns
- Contact ecsotec, LLC via email for a RMA number prior to sending any item back
- Defective products must be returned to the manufacturer, not ecsotec, LLC.
- Used electrical components cannot be returned for any reason.
- Items may only be returned within 30 days of delivery to the customer.
- Unused items may be shipped back (by customer and at customers expense) along with a Return Merchase Authorization (RMS) number
- Returned items will incur a 15% restocking fee
- If ecsotec, LLC made a mistake and sent the wrong item, ecsotec will pay for shipping the wrong item back and for sending the correct item to you (no restocking fee for our mistake). Buyer has to obtain an RMA number first.
